RUBY COAST COMMUNITY PROJECTS
The Nelson/Tasman region is a beautiful area with stunning scenery and many communities of a creative and entreprenerial nature creating interest and diversity.
The Ruby Coast stretches from Mapua to Kina and is one of those unique areas with quaint villages, cafés, small businesses and artisans, surrounded by over 22 kilometres of coastline.
The development of the Ruby Bay bypass was the catalyst to form CIG (Coastal Initiative Group) now known as RCIT (Ruby Coast Initiative Trust).
The Ruby Coast Initiative Trust was set up in October 2013 to formalise and continue the work previously undertaken by RCIG. Find out more about RCIT.

RUBY COAST SCULPTURE PROJECT
Become involved in the continuing growth of our community by supporting the Ruby Coast Sculptures Project - a series of three gateway sculptures proposed for Tasman Village (Aporo) and Mapua, marking the entry points to the Ruby Coast.
You can simply help raise the final funds to create a gateway sculpture for the Ruby Coast through Givealittle by clicking on the DONATE BUTTON below.
